This is the way....Silver Dawn has been at it for several years now. Starting out as a Punk/Pop-band we've grown out to be a rocking Progressive rockband that stands before you today. With influences from bands like: Pink Floyd, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Smashing Pumpkins, Silver Dawn plays with a heavy dose of melancholy, clear voices and powerful riffs for some time now, and has been delivering some great songs for some time now. Starting out in drummer Dennis' shed, all the way up to the studios, Silver Dawn has had many formations, but that's in the pas now. Silver Dawn is complete and ready to shake the grounds. With the feeling of melodic rockmusic captivated in a powerful modern shell, Silver Dawn presents itself as being progressive, yet melodic, for that is our trade. Drummer Dennis is the longest playing member, who founded Silver Dawn some 5 years ago, when it was called Outrage. After the joining of Marjoleine as bassist, Jeroen as a vocalist/guitarist and Shaun (the man from down under) as lead-guitarist, Silver Dawn has commenced in writing own material and producing some very fat songs.
Silver Dawn finds its inspiration in the faculties of life, we don't want to represent an icon for fashion or status, nor do we bring an anarchtical message, our music speaks for itself, written from our minds. Peace and harmony are the key and the recognition of the negativity of life, as well as life itself are centralized in our music.
For now we hope the visitors of the site can percieve a better insight into our band. Feel free to look around and download some music or pictures. Our relics are ment for everyone, just as music should be free and unclaimed. We wish you great pleasure with this site and hope to see you sometime at one of our shows.
